FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has two scanning units with vertical rotation axis passing through point of suspension of device. They have mutually opposite directions of rotation. Device includes signal processing unit incorporating pulse formers, unit of pulse signal referencing, reversible counters, inverters of code of change-over switches, clock pulse generator, pulse signal dividers, adder, indication register, decoder and two additional scanning units which sensitive elements are set in horizontal plane so that rotation axes of these scanning units in it are mutually perpendicular. Axis of one of them coincides with axial section of object. One of scanning units with vertical rotation axis is manufactured kinematically coupled to case of device. Azimuth corrections caused by roll and trim of device are calculated by microprocessors. EFFECT: expanded application field. 10 dwg
