FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes connected in series a load and a thyristor actuating member, joined through a switching-on unit to an output of a comparator. First input of the comparator is connected to a setter and to double-input analog signal multiplier. The apparatus also has a root mean square value converter. A triangle voltage generator includes an analog inverting integrator, an operational amplifier and an electronic single-pole two-direction switch-over. Due to using of these new members and connections the apparatus has enlarged functional possibilities. EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities of the apparatus. 1 cl, 3 dwg
