FIELD: generation of high-voltage pulses. SUBSTANCE: pulse-voltage generator has storage capacitors, three-electrode dischargers connected into Arkad'ev-Narx circuit, and screens for stage-by-stage shielding. Screens connected to center electrodes of dischargers are of stepped shape and mounted so that step shielding stage next to discharger is closer to storage capacitor than step shielding preceding stage and is shielded by step of screen connected to center electrode of next stage discharger; screen-to-screen distances are designed for interstage voltage. EFFECT: reduced operating time, improved reliability, simplified design of pulse-voltage generator. 1 dwg
