DI-N-OXIDES OF DIALKYLBENZENE DINITRILES AS LOW-TEMPERATURE RUBBER HARDENERS WITH SMALL UNSATURATION AND A METHOD OF SYNTHESIS OF DI-N-OXIDES OF DIALKYLBENZENE DINITRILES Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2042664 C1

FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: new di-N-oxides of dialkylbenzene dinitriles. Reagent 1: corresponding dialkylbenzene. Reagent 2: formaldehyde, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, acetic acid. Reaction conditions: reagent 1 is treated with reagent 2 in acid medium at 70-85 C for 5-6 h followed by treatment of prepared product with 10-80% aqueous solution of hexamethylenetetramine at the definite conditions. Then extraction, neutralization and oxidation of prepared product were performed. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 4 cl, 6 tbl
