FIELD: growing of crystals. SUBSTANCE: known apparatuses for continuous production of profiled articles from melt do not allow cross-section configuration of articles to be regulated, do not allow articles with curvilinear longitudinal axis or articles with length exceeding that of vertical pass of drawing mechanism or articles with small thickness to be produced. New apparatus has system for providing progressive or reciprocating movement of formers in horizontal plane. The system has mechanism for converting rotary motion into progressive or reciprocating motion, units and members for transmitting stable motion to former in horizontal plane. Apparatus is further provided with mechanism for holding primer and some parts of article in predetermined position, system for progressive or reciprocating displacement of receiving-distributing unit for supplying refrigerant and unit for regulating distance between refrigerant supply nozzle opening and article to be crystallized prior to drawing article and for varying angle of supplying refrigerant onto article to be crystallized. Apparatus has regulated arrangement of openings of nozzles relative to article to be drawn and to former, which is provided with streamline form of nose part. Shields for baffling refrigerant are mounted below nozzles. EFFECT: increased efficiency and high quality of articles. 6 cl, 6 dwg
