FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method for determination of stressed state of rock mass district is based on external force action exerted on tested rock mass by blast and registration of seismo-acoustic pulses and determination of intensity values of seismo-acoustic emission. To increase accuracy and reduce labor input in evaluation of stressed state, subject to determination are logarithms of values of intensity of seismo-acoustic emission. Intensity logarithm versus time graph is constructed to determine values of intensity logarithms at initial and final moments of decrease of seismo-acoustic activity. Stressed state of rock mass district is determined by relation of values of intensity logarithms at final and initial moments of time of decrease of seismo-acoustic activity.
