FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in development of impact-risky deposits. According to method, determined are values of stresses and seismic energy of dynamic occurrences in zones of contacts of geological structures in rock mass. Blast holes are drilled in rock mass. Then, blast holes are charged with explosives, and explosions are performed. Impact-risky condition of rock mass is evaluated upon explosion by means of energy coefficient CE which is determined according to following formula: CE = EEX / 4,19•A•QEX, where E - seismic energy of explosion, J; EEX = 10C; K - index of energy class equal to k = 2.76 . K = 2,76 • lgτ+2,24, + 2.24; τ - duration of seismic occurrence, s; A - full specific work of blast of explosive charge, cal/kg; QEX - mass of charges of explosives, kg. After that, according to value of CE conclusion is made about dynamic occurrences in rock mass. Application of aforesaid method allows for ensuring safety mining operations together with reducing cost of preparatory and restoring work due to determined criteria in assessment of impact-risky condition of rock mass.
