FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: driven in rock mass are needed auxiliary openings. Then, one row of rooms is made which is located square to direction of acting maximum horizontal stresses. In course of room driving, displacement of rocks in room zone of this row is controlled by mine survey. Upon completion of stabilization of displacement of rocks in this row of rooms, mineral extraction is started from rooms of adjacent row. Rooms of this row are driven by triangle pattern. In so doing, centers of two extreme rooms from source of maximum horizontal stresses of rows are located on corners of isosceles triangle, and all the others, on corners of equilateral triangle. Before mass breaking of main mineral resources, local mineral breaking is effected in adjacent rooms by densified pattern in plan of blasting holes outlining room near geometric axes connecting room centers. EFFECT: higher stability of interroom pillars with reduced mineral losses in them due to control of stressed state of rock mass by varying its mechanical-and-physical properties. 2 cl, 8 dwg
