FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: air cleaner has monoblock housing and sets of separating openings positioned inside the housing. Each of the openings is provided with a blade swirler positioned from the side of air supply. Common dust-collecting pan is secured to the housing. The pan has receiving branch pipes for discharging cleaned air. Each receiving branch pipe is mounted coaxially with the separation opening, the top of the branch pipe being received in the inlet part of the separating opening with a spaced relation to define a ring passageway. Additional dummy passageways and slot through grooves arranged tangentially to the separating openings are made in common walls of at least three adjacent separating openings from the side of the base inside the housing. The separating openings are in communication with the additional passageways through the slot grooves. Each separating opening can be converging in the direction of air flow.
