FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for cleaning air from dist, condensed moisture and snow and it can be used for precleaning of air getting into internal combustion engines of vehicles and industrial electrical equipment. Proposed air cleaner contains housing, separation holes, blade flow swirlers arranged from side of air intake and intake branch pipes to let out cleaned air and installed coaxially with separation holes to form ring channel. Housing is made with two flat opposite parallel surfaces on which swirler panel is installed from side of air intake, and air separator panel from side of air outlet Swirler panel combines swirlers, and air separator panel combines intake branch pipes. Blade swirlers are brought out of the limits of separation holes and they are made inform of truncated cone with rigid blades. Outer and inner surfaces of blades are formed by surfaces of two cones whose vertices coincide and axes are arranged at angle relative to each other. Leading and trailing edges of blades of blades are formed by intersections of cone surfaces. Invention provides reduction of specific mass and overall dimensions of air cleaner and drag, increases manufacturability of air cleaner reduces labor input in manufacture.
