FIELD: medicine; otolaryngology. SUBSTANCE: light source, reflector and bifocal lens, and viewing tube are placed inside the case and mounted axially. Moreover, the tube is placed in holes of the case and reflector. Light source is made to move, as a result, focus length of light spot may be changed, which spot is formed due to concentration of light flux by reflector from light source. Degree of magnification of object is achieved due to turning bifocal lens about its axis. The tube protects observer's eyes against beams, which have been reflected by bifocal lens. Case is mounted onto head holder. Simple light source and safety portable power unit are used in the device; power unit operates at autonomous mode of operation.
