FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves inhaling phytoaeroiones as finely divided electrically charged aerosol which electric charge material carrier is aqueous emulsion of essential oils or water decoctions of different alkaloidless plants not belonging to the group of the adaptogens. Essential oils are taken to produce emulsion in proportion of oil to water being equal to 1:1000. Water decoctions are prepared with proportion of raw materials to water being equal to 1:50. Emulsion or decoction are mechanically transformed into finely divided aerosol which is additionally electrically charged in escaping phytoaeroionizer. Biologically active substance concentration in the treatment room air is determined on conversion to essential oil contents as 1-2 mg/m3 of the room air. Treatment duration is 30-40 min. The number of treatments is 25-30 per medical treatment course to be taken daily. When necessary, phytoaeroionization treatment course is to be repeated in prophylactic purposes 2-3 months later. EFFECT: pronounced increase in adaptation level; lowered morbidity rate; no contraindications. 5 tbl
