FIELD: knitting. SUBSTANCE: method for treatment of long material with low-temperature plasma includes treatment of material surface by exposure its sections to low-temperature plasma from zero to maximum intensity. Material is continuously rewound in vacuum vessel from one winding body to the other to expose surfaces of winding bodies or their end faces to plasma. Winding body is taken in form of cross-wound bobbins. Device for realization of the method has electrodes arranged round winding bodies so that plasma excited by electrodes envelopes the generating lines of winding bodies. Electrodes are positioned parallel to end faces of winding bodies. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 3 dwg
