PROCESS OF DETECTION OF CONCENTRATION OF NICKEL PORPHYRENES IN BITUMOIDES Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: bitumoides are deasphaltated with solvent, oils, benzol resins in the form of two fractions and alcohol-benzol resins are extracted from deasphaltizate by chromatographic method which is followed by spectrography of benzol resins in region 450-650 nm and by determination of content of nickel porphyrenes by maximum of intensity of absorption band at 550± 5 nm. First fraction of 150-250 ml from benzol hexane in proportion (60-40):(40-60) and second fraction of 75-125 ml of benzol are extracted. Benzol resins or first traction of benzol resins are extracted with acetone for the course of 0.5-2.0 h with proportion of acetone and benzol resins equal to (30-300):1. Registration of spectra of absorption of extracts is conducted with partial compensation of background absorption of accompanying components of nonporphyrene structure using solution of oils or oil fractions free of metal porphyrenes as comparison system.
