FIELD: analytical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for determining the content of resinous substances in oil, oil products and asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD) and can be used in laboratories of oil producing and oil refining companies, oil and oil products pipeline transport companies, and research laboratories. To implement the method, the initial sample is initially treated with isopropyl alcohol at T:W=1:10-12. The resulting precipitate filtered and air-dried is dissolved at T:W=1:4-5 in a mixture of solvents nefras-toluene at a volume ratio of 1:1. The precipitate that did not dissolve at this stage is filtered off and the resulting filtrate is subjected to sorption treatment under static conditions, keeping it in contact with rice husk silica impregnated with C80/120 nefras for 30-35 minutes. Then the liquid phase is drained and resinous substances adsorbed by silica are desorbed by 3-4-fold treatment with a mixture containing ethyl alcohol and toluene in a volume ratio of 1:1. The resulting solution is evaporated and the evaporated residue is dried at a temperature of 105-110°C to constant mass. The relative content of resinous substances Cm (in%) in the original sample is calculated according to the formula Cm=m1/m2⋅100%, where m1 is the weight of resinous substances, g; m2 is the weight of the original sample, g.

EFFECT: simplifying the method, reducing its duration with a decrease in the number of stages, while improving its technical and economic indicators.
