FIELD: metal rolling. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes a hollow carriage, in which a chuck with a mandrel is mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion, a driving chain, whose ends are secured to the chuck, a mechanism for moving a blank, being in the form, of a second chain, whose ends are secured to a front end surface of the carriage, and a rack-type mechanism for driving that chain. Such structure allows to ameliorate conditions of clamping blanks, having different dimensions and mass values. EFFECT: enhanced serviceability of the apparatus. 1 cl, 6 dwg
