FIELD: chemical technology; preparation of rubber and other polymeric mixtures after intermittent rubber mixer. SUBSTANCE: width of worm coil in the first portion of intermediate zones adjacent to the second portion is equal to width of loading and unloading zones. Depth of this coil changes from maximum to minimum in the direction of the second portion. On the remaining part of the first portions the coils have a constant depth equal to the minimum depth of threads in the intermediate zones. The worm has an additional thread on the second portions. The number of starts and the pitch of this thread are equal to those of the mixing zone. EFFECT: uniform distribution of material in the thread grooves and higher homogenization of processed polymeric material. 5 dwg
