FIELD: measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming a probing field with a known space-time structure in the examined region of the flux, forming an optical signal containing the image of the scattering particle, halving the signal in space and making an inverted image of the particle, recombining the straight and inverted optical signals, dividing in space the recombined optical signal into two, one of which has in-phase straight and inverted optical signals while the other one has them in counterphase. The next steps include photoelectric conversion of cophase and counterphase optical signals, subtracting the photoelectric signals corresponding to the cophase and counterphase optical signals, measuring the duration of radiopulses in the resultant differential electric signal and multiplying the durations of radio pulses by half the value of the measured velocity. EFFECT: higher accuracy and wider dynamic range of measurements. 3 dwg
