FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: this method is based on combined application of laser Doppler anemometry (LDA) and particle image velocimetry (PIV). It comprises fitting CCD chambers at the angle calculated with the help of correcting module of calibration particle suspension sampling. Time interval between series of images is defined, images of sown particles are fixed and recorded. Instantaneous velocity fields are statistically and conditionally averaged. Note here that CCD chamber threshold sensitivity parameters are corrected at decrease in registered events by 10% of higher during the entire analysis or every 3 hours. Device comprises LDA, Doppler signal processor, two CCD chambers, two optical prisms, image processor, PC and correcting module of calibration particle suspension sampling including cylindrical flask for working fluid specimen, laser radiator, six or more photo receivers arranged around cylindrical flask.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of measurements and use of instrumentation.
