FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: potato digger comprises a semimounted frame made of detachable bars interconnected with one another and with working tools by identical clamps. The undercutting working tools are of different design. One of them has the form of a scoop while the other one is of a screw type. These undercutters form together a double stream of tuber- bearing soil slice. A pusher-type throwing device has the form of a double-radial carrier with two-arm levers of combing forks articulated at its ends. The upper levers have rollers at the ends which roll over the slot of an off-center follower with a pushing lower lever. Forks are several times longer than the top of the levers. The tuber-collecting tool is provided with a trap in the form of a flexible sheet with through holes for picking up tubers into a windrow. EFFECT: improved design. 6 dwg
