FIELD: medical engineering; devices used in traumatology and neurosurgery. SUBSTANCE: this device incorporates hollow needle with handgrip fitted to its nonworking end and box-grooved sponge disposed at working end. Inner channel of needle houses mandrin capable of longitudinal movement and having box-grooved sponge at working end and layer of dielectric material on its external surface. Sponges are formed by grooves made at needle edges and mandrin. These sponges are parts of one electric circuit which becomes complete on gripping foreign object. Mandrin is spring-loaded relative to handgrip and has button with tooth to interact with other tooth disposed on needle handgrip to form rack. EFFECT: more sophisticated design. 2 dwg
