FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: puncture-biopsy needle can be used in surgery, particularly, for taking cyto-biopsy matter and for doing puncture-drainage operations. Puncture-biopsy needle has external tube, dish and mandarin. Internal needle has handle for rotation and sharpening at end. Sharpening is made in form of spiral frill. Cutting surfaces of spiral drill form screw groove and they have back angle of sharpening of 10°. Angle of sharpening of cutting edge equals to 20°. Front edge of sharpening equals to 60°. There is additional sharpening made at angle of 10° disposed at cutting edge of external tube along external side of slant cut. Internal needle is made to be inserted into cavity of external tube after mandarin is removed. Set of devices for biopsy is widened which results in biopsy matter is capable of keeping its macroscopic and microscopic properties.

EFFECT: simplicity; low cost; reduced traumatism.
