FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: fettling consists of plates located on the protected construction. The plates are made of the wear-resistant alloy and are strengthened with the metal reinforcement which is located parallel to the working surface of the plate and is made in the form of wave-like bars. The axis of the wave is superposed on that of the plate. EFFECT: enhanced protection of the surfaces, which are subjected to depreciation, from the action of considerable impact loads resulting from the falling pieces of the loose material. 4 dwg
