FIELD: devices for transfer of ore; applicable in crushing departments of concentrating mills. SUBSTANCE: device for transfer of lumpy material has hopper 1 with discharge opening 2 in wall 3. Bottom 4 of hopper 1 is located below natural slope 5 of loose material forming protective layer 6. Device has pneumatic pulse apparatus 7 with nozzle 8 communicated with hopper hollow opposite to discharge opening 2 below point of intersection of surface of natural slope 5 and square to it from top point of discharge opening 2. In case of wedging, pneumatic pulse apparatus 7 is engaged. Pneumatic pulse pushes material of protective layer 6 to discharge opening 2 to break wedging lumps; and hopper is ready for operation.
