FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method of grinding the soda-lime glass is exercised by means of heating and abrupt cooling of the glass in the liquid working medium. The water solutions of electrolytes are used as the working medium. They are brought to the temperature not exceeding 60 C. The glass heating is exercised up to the temperature 1.5-4.0 times exceeding its thermal shock resistance. After that the abrupt cooling of the glass is fulfilled in the water solution of electrolytes. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of grinding the powder-like and granulated glass used for the manufacture of ornamental-facing materials of the "glass silica" type as a filler of concrete and as low-melting additions in the manufacture of cement and ceramic articles. 1 cl
