FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing homogeneous glass. Method includes batch preparation, melting of original glass of a given composition to obtain glass granulate, and its dispersion. As the batch preparation is used fine glass granulate, obtained during the process of melting from the batch of the raw glass and draining the welded glass mass into the granulate in the zone of maximum melting temperatures, and then dispersing it to a particle size of not less than 50 mcm. Obtained glass has a uniformity of not more than 55 Å.
EFFECT: elimination of chemical and thermal glass heterogeneity.
