FIELD: to broach holes by fine spray of water under high pressure and with speed of up to 2 km/s. SUBSTANCE: water spray is shot from nozzle within several microseconds, that allows low consumption of water. To achieve required parameters of cutting spray they use hydraulic pressure, that is created in liquid during initiation of electrical discharge in it. The pressure pushes main punch of big diameter and rigidly connected with it punch of booster, that reinforces pressure on working liquid surface by several tens fold. In the case, pressure in cavity of booster is rising in fact instantly, as electrical discharge lasts few microseconds, and within the period of time pressure in discharging cavity and correspondingly in cavity of booster is rising up to working value. Workable piece is broached by spray within several microsecond regardless of thickness, that is impossible to achieve using any of known methods. EFFECT: increased efficiency. 5 cl, 1 dwg
