FIELD: percussive mechanisms designed for breaking frozen grounds and hard rocks in construction and mining industries. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic percussive mechanism includes body with gas energy accumulator, cocking chamber accommodating striker with head and step valve loaded with flexible member of energy accumulator. Formed by outer surface of valve and inner surface of body is overflow hollow periodically communicated with return line. Annular recess is made in body upper part of overflow hollow to receive floating ring. During operation of mechanism, the floating ring may be connected to valve with striker to form closed hydraulic hollow. The latter consists of two parts. The first part of the hollow is formed by ring, body and valve, and the second part is formed by striker head and valve. Both parts of hollow are interconnected by channels made in valve. Cocking chamber is communicated with pressure line. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
