FIELD: sampling surface films taken from surfaces of inorganic and organic liquids. SUBSTANCE: in this method, use is made of screen with thread diameter of 0.001 mm linked through line with neck of sampling chamber and pulled onto float frame. Screen is placed on liquid surface and immersed in it through 0.01 mm at certain distance from sampling chamber. Surface layer of liquid is drained over stretched line while screen moistened by surface layer of liquid is lifted. Sampling device has screen pulled onto square float frame. Screen cell size is 0.5-1.0x0.5-1.0 mm with thread diameter of 0.001 mm. Screen is linked with neck of sampling chamber by means of line which is attached to two opposite corners of float chamber.
