FIELD: measurement of physical parameters of primarily liquid media; measurement of density of petroleum oil and its products. SUBSTANCE: device has tubular cavity with piezoelectric transducers placed along its longitudinal axis at certain distance from each other and made in the form of annular piezoelectric-crystal plates whose leads are connected either to pulse generator or to ultrasonic detector. Tubular cavity is sealed on one end immersed in liquid. Piezoelectric transducers are secured on inner surface of cavity. Similar piezoelectric-crystal plates are mounted on both sides of annular piezoelectric-crystal plates; plates are glued together on end surfaces and stuck to inner surface of cavity through their external cylindrical surfaces.
