FIELD: measurement of physical parameters of primary liquid media, such as petroleum oil or its products. SUBSTANCE: device has direct-flow tubular cavity mounted in housing; exciter and detector of ultrasonic oscillations are secured along its axis at certain distance from each other; they are, essentially, annular piezoelectric-crystal plates embracing external surface of tubular cavity whose leads are connected to pulse generator or ultrasonic detector. Similar piezoelectric-crystal plates are mounted on both sides of annular plates; piezoelectric-crystal plates are glued together on their end surfaces and stuck to external surface of cavity through their internal cylindrical surfaces.
