FIELD: sports, tourist and hunting equipment. SUBSTANCE: safety device is a shoe-shaped cover whose entire sole is fixed on the ski while the skier's shoe is fixed in its front part after its insertion into the shoe-shaped cover. The latter provides for free movement of heel portion of the skier's shoe while skiing. The device prevents the skier's shoes from contact with snow, rules out penetration of snow under the sole and heel and prevents formation of ice. EFFECT: improved efficiency of racing, tourist, and hunting skis, preservation of shoes and better comfort for the feet. 2 dwg
