UNDERCAR GENERATOR SUSPENSION Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: transport; electric cars with motors mounted on bogie frames and driving axles. SUBSTANCE: suspension has generator eyes coupled with bogie frame brackets by joints of torque rod 14, and also tensioning and damping devices. Damping device has horizontal rod coupled through flexible bushings and brackets with bogie frame 11. Brackets of damping device have guide 9 located in slots of sections 10 connected across frame 11 for adjustment and relative fixing members 12 and 13 coupled with guides. Axis of horizontal rod from which generator is movably suspended between flexible bushings by means of eyes lies in one plane with center of gravity of generator and is square to axis of generator. Torque rod is made in form of coupler 14 with left-hand and right-hand thread which connects screw links 15, 16 of spatial joints 17, 18 of generator and frame. Torque rod is inclined relative to generator axis through angle not exceeding 45 degrees. EFFECT: enhanced quality of suspension. 3 cl, 2 dwg
