SUBSTANCE: method for purification of water and cleaning of ground from oil and oil product contamination includes introduction into contaminated medium of growing culture of sulfate-reducing bacteria and micromycetes with amount of growing culture amounting to 10-200% of contaminated volume with cell concentration of at least 1·10⁶ per milliliter, and quantity of micromycetes of, at least, 1·10³ per gram of ground or milliliter of water. Used as micromycetes are ASPERGILLUS NIGER, PENICILLIUM CHRYSOSPORIUM, TRICODERMA VIRIDE. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 tbl
