FIELD: sealing technology. SUBSTANCE: mounted in between flanges of housing and cover are thin-walled flexible member and sealing gasket. Brackets mounted on cover are equidistant over its perimeter. Movable member in form of flexible ring consists of three equal parts separated by rigid stops. Gasket is fitted on flange of housing. Member is made in form of ring of U-shaped section. Mounted between legs which are parallel with parting plane of joint of seal and are directed towards axis of piston of flexible member in zone of interaction with gasket is movable member. Flexible member is connected with flange of cover by its one leg, braces being secured on its other leg. Height of stops is determined by preset formula. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
