FIELD: heat exchanging engineering. SUBSTANCE: interconnected perforated baskets 5 and 6 with nozzle 7 are mounted inside housing 1 of the regenerator. Open part of lower basket 6 is secured to bottom 3 of the regenerator. Upper basket 5 is provided with combined bottom 11 and skirt 13 secured to the inner side of housing 1 and conical cover 12. Combined bottom 11 of upper basket 5 is made up as two parts. One of the parts and the housing are axially alined. The other part is made up as a trancated cone and parallel to skirt 13, cover 12 of upper basket 5, and bottom of lower basket 6. Upper bottom 2 of housing 1, side surface of housing 1 positioned above the site of securing skirt 13, and some others construction members are made of steel having no expensive admixtures.
