FIELD: refining equipment. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of lowering pressure of gas mixture over a surface of a melt metal until creating a partial pressure values of the gases over the melt being lower, than partial pressure values of the gases in the melt; treating the metal by pressure pulsations with amplitude (0.02-0.08)MPa in low frequency range (0.03-5)Hz, simultaneously changing pressure in range of medium frequency (55-195)Hz with amplitude (0.005-0.01)MPa and in range of high frequency 350-3500Hz with amplitude 0.0001-0.001 MPa. Apparatus for performing the method includes a vacuum-tight vessel, gas draining branch pipe and an ejector, having a body, a nozzle and a mixing duct and mounted of the gas draining branch pipe; an assembly for providing low frequency pulsations of gas flowrate through the nozzle of the ejector; an assembly for providing medium frequency pulsations of the gas flowrate, mounted at an inlet of the gas draining branch pipe, and a controller for providing high frequency pulsations of flowrate of gas being pumped out of the vessel, due to changing effective cross sections of the nozzle and (or) of the mixing duct.
