FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: pipe line branch pipes are mounted coaxially for permitting movement. Branch pipes of the labyrinth seal are secured to the branch pipes. The labyrinth seal is defined by two belt spirals. Sealing members are interposed between turns of the spiral, The edges of the inner ends of the spirals are tightly and rigidly secured to the outer sides of the respective pipe line branch pipes. The edges of the outer ends of the spirals are rigidly secured to the adjacent turns of the respective spirals. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
