FIELD: heating of lining of casting and hot-metal transfer ladles. SUBSTANCE: burners are installed in pairs in the ladle cover on both sides of one of the two normal axes of the ladle mouth. The burners are directed to each other, with the mutual angle between their axes being within 20 to 100 C and the distance between the centers of attachment of burners in the cover being within 0.15 to 0.7 of the ladle mouth inside diameter. Such an arrangement of burners provides for swirling of the internal gaseous atmosphere in the ladle space with formation of a column of high-temperature exit gases twisting along the ladle longitudinal axis. EFFECT: uniform distribution of temperature gradient of lining external and internal layers. 2 cl, 3 dwg
