FIELD: airfield light signalling systems; runway, taxiway, obstruction, approach lights, etc. SUBSTANCE: device has one or more optic elements and light source with socket assembled on holder and placed in housing with neck and ball joint fitted on tubular bearing member. Socket holder is made in form of elongated tubular member installed coaxially inside housing for longitudinal displacement and fixing in upper and lower positions. Made on side walls of above- indicated housing are access windows, and housing is embraced by axially movable hollow protective shell overlapping the windows in operation. At least one optic element, for instance, guard cap, is solidly and hermetically connected with upper ring portion of housing, and protective shell is made in form of union nut following the outline of housing. Nut is turned on housing neck to thrust against its ring portion. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
