FIELD: airfield equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has optical system assembled in its housing. Optical system consists of lamp, reflector, spheroidal counter-reflector and two total internal reflection prisms whose working faces are directed towards reflector made in form of surface of revolution of part of parabola around vertical axis of circular symmetry of light located at angle to axis of this parabola within 2.5 to 8 deg and equal to angle of elevation of leading working surface of each prism relative to horizontal plane. Semispheroidal counter-reflector is provided with flat flange wings covered with mirrors on side of reflector which close part of its outlet hole in zones redistributing the light flux of lamp beyond leading working faces of prism and oriented at angles within 2.5 to 8 deg relative to outlet hole of reflector.
