FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotor 1 of salient-pole synchronous machine has removable poles 6 alternating with poles 7 built integral with rim-yoke 5. Coils of field winding 17 are mounted on removable poles 6 only by means of nonmagnetic washer 16. Edges of pole shoes are beveled towards air gap to reduce leakage flux of poles. Damping system is insulated from poles 6 and 7 by means of heat-resistant insulation. EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwg
