FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: bra framework has a bent ribbon base made of steel wire. The base has rounded edges. Ends of the base with end- pieces are directed to pass under the low end of the bra cup. The base is made of stamped wire preliminarily bent to follow the framework shape. The method involves operations of cutting steel wire into pieces sized to meet the cup shape, bending to make the pieces follow the shape, making of a constant profile ribbon with rounded edges, and formation of end-pieces on free ends of the cuts.
