FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotor core is stack with straight or skewed slots accommodating winding bars joined together by means of external end rings and common intermediate rings placed between stacks. Stacks of double-stack core have equal number of straight or skewed slots shifted through half the slot pitch or unequal number of straight or skewed slots. One of external end rings is smaller or larger in cross-sectional area than intermediate ring and other end ring whose sectional areas are equal. Manufacturing process for this induction motor is given in description of invention.
