FIELD: gymnastic facilities. SUBSTANCE: pad bed represents a number of flexible tubular pneumatic cells. Pneumatic cells have a sectionalized coating in the form of shields. Each shield has two layers of mutually perpendicular holes to receive reinforcing rods. The length of the rods equals the length of the shield. The rods are positioned in adjacent shields with a shift relative to one another to provide an even joint and uniformity of flexible properties of the pad.
