FIELD: mechanical engineering; impact tools. SUBSTANCE: tool has body 1 with axial hole 2, working member 3, striker made in form of gang of circular cylinders 4, union nuts 6 and 7, block 8 with head 9, spring 10, and resilient outer bushing 11. When striking with hammer at head 9 of block 8, kinetic energy is transmitted to working member 3 through cylinders 4 engaging with their end faces. Kinetic energy is converted into potential energy of working member 1 bypassing body 1 which decreases vibration transmitted to handle. EFFECT: increased load capacity and service life of tool owing to increased contact surface of resilient bodies engaging with one another. 2 cl, 1 dwg
