FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: longitudinal bar lattice 3 is mounted on the curvilinear portion of chip conduit 2 from the upper wall to the lower one. Upper wall 5 of the chip conduit is made with longitudinal slots and the crimped surface on which the projections are located with a shift. The ground lumber goes to chip conduit 2 where it gets onto longitudinal bar lattice 3. Large cut, chip and shavings, supporting on the bars, slide along them changing the mechanical trajectory and are taken out of the chip conduit through loading chute 4. The small and standard chips freely pass through the guides of the bar lattice and, due to inertia, pressing against upper curvilinear crimped wall 5, slide along the longitudinal slots. Then vibrating on the alternating projections they are divided into the small and normal cuts. Part of the air flow together with the small cut passes through the slots and is removed from the chip conduit through jacket 8. The standard chip is fed to the chip conduit through discharging branch pipe 9. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of wood grinding. 4 dwg
