FIELD: separating materials. SUBSTANCE: gas is cooled in heat exchangers connected in series and separated into the vapor and liquid phases. After the separation, the vapor flow is split into two streams. The first stream is cooled with residual gas to define a liquid and directed to the expansion in the throttle valve. After expansion and decreasing temperature, the first vapor stream is heated due to heat exchanging with the distillation stream and is fed to the separation column for rectification. The second vapor stream is expanded in the turbo-expansion machine, where the temperature decreases and work is done to compress the residual gas, and directed to the column for rectification. After separation, the liquid is throttled in the valve and also fed to the column for rectification. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 39 cl, 10 dwg
