FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: proposed device for measurement of linear dimensions has measuring fixture manufactured in the form of tube filled with liquid and probe hydraulically coupled to it interacting in process of measurement with object and carrying bellows. It is fitted with additional bellows installed in probe uniaxially to main bellows and forming together with it tight restoring chamber filled with liquid. Probe has contact tips for mechanical contact with measurement object. Device can operate under two modes: mode of increased precision within narrow range and mode of routine precision within wide measurement range. Device includes pulse generator and register of reflected signals and uses ultrasound oscillations. EFFECT: increased precision and expanded measurement range. 1 dwg
