SUBSTANCE: device has rotor and magnetic circuit walls provided with teeth being ring-shaped, trapezoid in their radial cross-section, and alternating in the direction of liquid flow. Magnetic circuit teeth are placed with clearance in the rotor wall teeth. The rotor teeth are located facing one another. The medium is cleared from finely divided ferromagnetic admixtures by means of magnetic field of large gradient value with magnetic density of up to 2 T.
